Its name denotes
rank, and recalls the bygone days of the majestic Mexico of
the nineteenth-century.
This Elixir de Agave, first bottled in 1990, is aged for many
years to acquire its superbly delicate flavor and its
seductive bouquet. Once the finest agaves in Los Altos de
Jalisco have been selected, Don Alberto Becherano personally
supervises each of Don Maximiliano's processes to obtain its
exceptional quality.
The traditional design of its bottle is at once sober and
elegant, emphasizing the unique concept of this brand. The
Reserves varies in volume from year to year, nevertheless,
none has ever exceeded 2000 liters.
Don Maximiliano, due his exceptional features and its limited
reserves, has never been commercialized in an open public
market, and for more than a decade it has been only available
for a very small group of connoisseurs and collectors, that
through out the years had formed a very selective club,
sharing among themselves the complete reserves, sometimes even
before the vintages are bottled.
